De Islands was founded in 2003 by Persaud together with his cousin Harrinarine Jagnarine — an owner-operated kitchen built to bring real Caribbean cooking to the community.
Originally designed to serve the Caribbean community, the restaurant quickly won over customers from every background. Two decades later, the mission hasn't changed: consistently high-quality meals and service — whether you're dining with us, grabbing take-out, or catering a crowd.
